# FulwaveTimer — Privacy Policy
_Last updated: July 15, 2026_
FulwaveTimer is designed to keep your data on your own devices. We do not run
servers, we do not collect analytics, and we do not have any way to see your
information.
## What the app stores, and where
- **Playlists and timer settings** are stored on your device and, if you are
signed in to iCloud, synced through **your own private iCloud account** so
they appear on your other devices. This data is stored in your iCloud
container, which the developer cannot access.
- **Imported audio files and spoken‑text phrases** are stored locally on each
device and are not uploaded anywhere.
- **Local backups** of your playlist library are kept on your device only.
## Your music and audio files
FulwaveTimer can add audio to a timer stage in two ways, both of which you
start:
- **Files you choose** (from the Files app, iCloud Drive, or another app). A
copy is saved inside FulwaveTimer on your device.
- **Your Apple Music library.** If you grant permission, the app can read tracks
from the music library on your device so you can use them in a playlist. It
only reads what you select, the audio stays on your device, and it is never
uploaded. You can revoke this permission at any time in **Settings → Privacy
& Security → Media & Apple Music**.
## Session files (.fws)
FulwaveTimer can export a playlist, together with its audio, as a **Fulwave
Session (.fws)** file, and can import session files you open or receive. These
are ordinary files on your device: exporting writes a file that **you** then
choose what to do with, and importing reads a file you opened. Nothing is sent
to us, and there is no online session store or account.
Audio taken from your Apple Music library is never included in an exported
session file.
## Apple Health (Apple Watch)
If you enable workout recording on the Apple Watch, FulwaveTimer uses Apple’s
**HealthKit** to:
- save your timer sessions to the Health app as **workouts** (duration, workout
type, active energy), and
- read **heart rate** and **active energy** during a session to display and
record them.
This information is stored in **Apple Health on your device**. FulwaveTimer does
not transmit it anywhere, and the developer never receives it. You can revoke
Health access at any time in **Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices**.
## Notifications
FulwaveTimer schedules local notifications on your device for stage changes and
when a session ends. These are generated and delivered entirely on‑device.
## Diagnostics log
The app keeps a small **diagnostics log on your device** to help troubleshoot
playback and lock‑screen behavior. It records app events (such as when a session
starts, changes stage, or ends), the app version and build, whether Fulwave Pro
is active, your iOS version, and whether Low Power Mode is on. It does not
contain personal information, and it does not contain the contents of your
playlists or audio.
This log **stays on your device**. It is shared only if **you** choose to share
it — for example, by tapping Share in **Settings → Diagnostics** to send it when
reporting a problem. You can clear it at any time from that same screen.
## Purchases (Fulwave Pro)
Fulwave Pro is sold as an in‑app purchase through the App Store. **Apple**
processes the transaction and manages the subscription. FulwaveTimer only learns
whether your purchase is active; the developer never receives your payment
details, card information, or Apple Account credentials. You can manage or cancel
a subscription in **Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions**.
## Data we collect
**None.** FulwaveTimer does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal
data. There are no third‑party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs in the
app.
## Children’s privacy
FulwaveTimer does not collect data from anyone, including children.
## Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a
new “Last updated” date.
